Is it just me, or did
The Office (and its writers) totally turn Pam into a wet blanket on last night’s episode? No respectable gal would EVER think Toby is “kinda cute,” it was a forced twist that I didn’t buy. She has way better taste - and diginity. And her disappointment about Jim not proposing reeked of such loathsome desperation that befits PR girls celebrating their 30th birthdays in Murray Hill - not our independent artist Pam! If I wanted to watch a desperate chick mope around I’d spend tonight lurking in the Meatpacking District. But my DVR is off-limits for such behavior.
