Sometimes I miss my mom for the stereotypical reasons, ie: “Mom, I’m engaged!” But most often what I struggle with is the inability to call, IM or email her about the stupid shit we found so funny. I see stuff everyday that I’d love to be able to tell my mom. Like for example, I just discovered that Rachel Ray got a haircut! This would make a great mom-share, as Martha (my mom, not Stewart) HATED Rachel Ray. She thought she looked dirty and didn’t like that her hair always seemed to be getting in the food she was cooking (my mom was excellent at judging famous people harshly for random things). So look Mom - short hair! Same horrible fashion and cheap shoes.
