My Mom Lives On
When I was home last weekend I found something I had never seen before that I think my dad discovered while going through my mom’s stuff. For some reason he decided to pass it on to me. The item: a “a personal belt” that I guess was used in the 70s for when ladies got their periods. On it is a post-it, and in my moms handwriting it says, “May be collectable!”
I love finding little treasures like this that are just so my mom and make me laugh. Has she been lugging this little thing around since the 70s? I’ll never know now, but the secret life of my mom fascinates me.
